Medeival weapons from Europe are very rare, and as rare as you get is such a stone bow c.1540-1560/ A superb Italian bow of wood and iron construction. All original except the bow string. The front sight is missing otherwise complete and in excellent condition. See a similiar example in Stone's "Glossary of the Construction, Decoration and use of Arms & Armour." The example pictured in the book is in the Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York.
