ESCAPE COMPASS WWII

Used by the SOE, and OSS operatives as well as allied airmen
to find directions in enemy held territory.
These minute ( 9/ 16 th inch ) compasses were easily hidden
on the person or inside an innocent piece of personal apparrell.
This item has a crack in the glass lens,
but does not detract from its apperance nor use.
The dust speckles are illuminated in the picture,
they are not that apparent in real life.
A genuine piece of WWII.
