These are original Associated Press photoos from WWII, complete with original captions. (on paper attached to reverse side). Each measures about 9" x 7", clearer than scans depict, all in excellent condition.

British naval gunner, Able Seaman Budden, gunner of one of Englands light attack boats.
Budden 21, has participated in several successful attacks on German coastal shipping.

US paratroopers at Chiunzi Pass which leads to Naples, pause for a rest
in their cave-like foxholes during a lull in the fighting.
