Excellent Opium Leather Storage Box

Constructed of heavy molded leather which has a heavy black lacquer finish, this circular box would have held the raw opium paste, much like a tobacco jar. It is beautifully made, and genuine. A fine and seldom offered accessory for the collector of opium pipes and paraphanalia. Diameter of the box is 3 3/4 inches, condition is excellent.
