Antique Map of Manitoba (Riel Rebellion)

This early map of Manitoba, and the Northwest Territories shows Manitoba as the
"Postage Stamp Province", the rest of present day Manitoba, being the Northwest Territories.
Please notice that the map is marked off in square sections.
The surveying of Manitoba by the Federal Government precipitated the Riel Rebellions
of 1870 and 1885. This wonderful old map fits right in
with the other items on the store dealing with the Riel Rebellion.
In an oak frame, measuring 31 1/2" x 22 1/2".
The portion of the map showing (has not been removed from the frame) measures
25 1/2" x 17". Very minor staining to the bottom of the map, otherwise excellent.
A fine piece of Canadian history.
