WWII Allied Flechett

These are the original issue of the allied WWII (later called Lazy Dog Bombs in Vietnam)
Anti-personel flechetts. I don't know if they were ever used, as the were considered
controversial (rules of war).
Unlike the Vietnam Era, these are cast steel, and not lathe turned.
They turn up occasionally here in Canada, but I have never seen one of these WWII types in the U.S.
They weigh 285 grains, and measure 1 3/4" in length.
