18th Century Copper Flagon

An exceptional hand hammered, gold soldered flagon.
Probably used for wine, this very rare copper flagon is large
being 8 inches tall and almost 9 inches in diameter.
The spout is in niello. The workmanship is first rate and as an added bonus
is quite probably from the Hudson Bay Company post, Lower Fort Garry.
This would make sense as a flagon of this size and quality would have been
for a very important table indeed. Condition is excellent!
