WWI French Military Brassards

These brassards (arm bands) were worn by military personelle and authorized the wearer to requisition supplies from businesses or individuals, on behalf of the French Army. Both are old and original. Both are in excellent condition. The cloth armbands each have a brass shield sewn on which reads "Requisitions Militaires".
