Some time ago, I thought I would email Bernie Kopell for an autographed photo.
I thought it would be fun to send my request on the custom stationery that I made.
Below is a copy of my correspondence to our glorious leader...

To my delight, Mr. Kopell was kind enough to accommodate my request with the following
autographed photo. Not only an autograph, but a classic Siegfried rant! If you can't read
it in the photo, I have a copy of the text below the photo...

"Herr Cy, Sissie unt nincompoop would be a compliment as far as you're concerned!
You schtupit! I've been looking for you in London, Paris, Rome...unt you end up in
Manitoba?! Oh well, a KAOS branch, even in Manitoba is better than nothing...or iss it?
Pull yourself together! Your Glorious Leader, Siegfried"
Is that cool or what? To be chastised and called "schtupit" by the Glorious one?
I couldn't be prouder. If this isn't confirmation of KAOS alive and well north
of the border, I don't know what is.
Next, I emailed Dick Gauthier for an autographed photo and received the following:

Funny thing, Hymie must have malfunctioned (if you can believe it) because I received
a SECOND autographed photo, just the same, a week later. lol.
The next pair of autographs I collected were from Max and 99 themselves...
I purchased the following autographed photo off of ebay but I cannot authenticate
the autographs, however it doesn't matter that much to me...I love the photo.

Max appears to be in some pain at the prospect of parting with some cash...
Now, having collected these great photos, I thought it would be nice to build a custom
frame to display them. Being a signpainter / commercial artist / website designer, I
applied my talents, and came up with the following display...

The whole dispay was cut to shape from MDF, then painted to match my office
wall. The logos are handpainted and there is a little shelf with a model of Max's car.
There is glass over the photos (some glare in photo from window...)
After building the little model of Max's car, I was surprised when a neighbor
told me that HE HAD a Sunbeam just like Max's...FOR SALE!
I couldn't believe it. When I checked it out, it turned out that it was an Alpine,
not a Tiger he had for sale. It looked exactly the same, but had a small motor.
It was actually like the one they used on the show for the "gadget" scenes.
Having the smaller motor allowed for the pop up cannon under the hood!
Well, the wheels in my head started turning, and I thought hmmmmm,
what if I restored this car, and actually BUILT a pop up cannon for it!
It would be great for parades etc. and really, just be a hoot to drive!
I bought it. The project is on hold for now, BUT the possibility is there.
Here is what it looks like now...

A far cry from Sue's beautiful Tiger! Maybe someday...
For my last offering, this is just a copy of the VHS jacket cover I made for my taped
collection of Get Smart episodes. I want to make it clear that I made these for MY OWN
collection, and did not sell or distribute bootleg copies in any way. That would be too evil...
even for KAOS North.

I managed to tape MOST of the Get Smart episodes, but am missing 4...
naturally, one of them is one of my favorites, "Schwartz's Island".
I am ecstatic about the release of the TimeLife set, and CAN'T WAIT for November!
I would like to express my SINCEREST thanks to Carl and Sue for there devotion to the project,
and all of the Get Smart fans that pulled together to help make this DVD set a reality.
For any visitors to this page that are not aware, www.wouldyoubelieve.com is
THE most comprehesive Get Smart on the net, and a MUST VISIT for any fan.

My Jackolantern from this year...
That's it for now, GS fans, hope you enjoyed this page!
